TWTD returned to the Tea Bar to showcase the incredible success of our Chelsea Women's team in the FA Cup, from our first win at Wembley in 2015 to current holders.

On 24th January 2026, prior to our WSL fixture against Arsenal, the Chelsea Heritage Partnership presented a delve into the FA Cup successes of our women's team.

With the usual co-operation of the Chelsea Museum we were able to put on display a variety of special items for our visitors to enjoy - from a shirt worn at that 1-0 win over Notts County in 2015 to the current FA Cup trophy (yes, it was the real one!) won against Manchester United in a 3-0 victory in 2025. We also had a pair of Chelsea Legend Fran Kirby's FK14 boots on show for visitors to admire.

We were delighted to see so many Chelsea supporting families come through the doors of the Tea Bar, welcomed by our excellent Chelsea Museum tour guide Billy, always happy to share his expert knowledge of the items on show, and also organise photo opportunities for our guests.

As well as our museum displays, we also presented a showcase of our women's FA Cup winning timeline, as compiled by Chelsea's official club historian and CHP member Rick Glanvill:

In addition, we were delighted to present a curated collection of images and footage from the lens of Gillian Bromfield in the stands at Wembley that perfectly captures a supporters eye view of many of the Final triumphs, this one from our most recent win against Manchester United in 2025:

Official FA Cup final footage was also provided by the club on a third screen, all three screens highlighting the phenomenal success our women have enjoyed in this competition.

We were also able to present informative stats for each of our FA Cups finals (including the earlier one we lost!), courtesy of CHP member and stats man Paul Carter of Stamford-Bridge.com:

With grateful thanks to all the club staff who helped to facilitate this event - members of the Supporter Liaison team, the Chelsea Museum, AV team, Facilities team, plus the Security and Catering team in the Tea Bar on the Day. Mostly thank you to the match going supporters who dropped by and made the event the success it was.

We hope to put on at least one more Those Were the Days event before the end of the season - please watch out for news.
