On Saturday 11th October 2025, Stamford Bridge plays host to a Legends game that includes a list of Chelsea legends - a who’s who of some of our fantastic recent talent.
To celebrate the occasion, the Chelsea Supporters’ Trust’s Chelsea Heritage Partnership will be presenting another in our series of successful Those Were the Days pre match heritage events prior to the game, from 1pm in the Stamford Bridge Tea Bar.

We will present a footage showcase of those legendary players turning out for the game (just the Blue ones), who include Eden Hazard, Katy Chapman, Gianfranco Zola, Eidur Gudjohnsen, Diego Costa and John Terry, to randomly name but a few from a long list of superstars.
Alongside those clips, we will also feature footage from some memorable past encounters with our red opponents. All clips are shown courtesy of our Partner James Abba of Chelsea Lookback fame.
Did you know that our first home game at Stamford Bridge was a friendly against Liverpool in September 1905? As a continuing theme of our 120th anniversary celebrations, Chelsea’s official club historian and Partner Rick Glanvill has compiled one of his informative presentations that tells the story of how that game came about. You will also be able to read some of the intriguing newspaper articles and match reports of the time, provided by Partner Paul Carter of Stamford-Bridge.com.
And if that wasn’t enough, the Chelsea Museum will be supplying a selection of fantastic artefacts for the event, including some that our participating players will have worn and that our knowledgeable supporters will recognise. And with a certain big trophy taking pride of place, there will be plenty of opportunities for visitors to take photos.

The match is in aid of the Chelsea Foundation and the Chelsea Players’ Trust – you can find out more about the incredible work they do and donate here.
Do join us in the Tea Bar (by the Stamford Bridge Shed End ticket office) from 1pm until kick off. Entry is free to all supporters and refreshments will be on sale.
